Chance – A Playful Pup Ready to Start His Big Adventure!

Background
Chance’s journey began in a tiny enclosure at the back of a yard near a company building, where he and his four siblings were found. Their mother roamed freely among other adult dogs in the yard, but thankfully, all the adults have now been neutered to prevent more pups from facing the same fate. Rescued and brought to the safety of the shelter in February 2025, Chance is now approximately five months old and eagerly waiting for a family to call his own.

Personality
True to his puppy nature, Chance is a bundle of curiosity, wiggles, and playful energy! He loves romping around with his siblings and gets along well with them. With his big, beautiful paws, we suspect he’ll grow into a large breed. While he is currently in quarantine for his mandatory health tests and vaccinations, what we’ve seen so far is a typical, happy-go-lucky pup who will undoubtedly make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

Home Required
As a young pup, Chance is looking for patient and understanding owners who can guide him through the big, exciting world using positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning. He will need to learn everything from scratch—from basic commands to the all-important life skills of being a well-mannered dog. He could be homed as an only dog or alongside a well-rounded resident dog who can show him the ropes. Future owners should be ready to embrace the fun, chaos, and joy that comes with raising a playful puppy—but in return, they’ll get a lifetime of love and loyalty from this gorgeous guy!
