Sweet Cleo – A Playful Pup Ready for Her Forever Home!

Cleo’s life began in a tiny enclosure at the back of a yard near a company building, where she was found alongside her four siblings. Their mother roamed freely in the yard with other adult dogs, but thankfully, all the adults have now been neutered, ensuring no more puppies will be born into such tough conditions. Rescued and brought to the shelter in February 2025, Cleo is now approximately five months old and ready to find a loving forever home!

Personality
Cleo is everything you’d expect from a puppy—curious, playful, and full of life! She enjoys tumbling around with her siblings and always has a wagging tail. With her big paws, we think she will grow into a large breed. As she is currently in quarantine for her mandatory health tests and vaccinations, a full personality assessment will be done soon. However, from what we’ve seen so far, she’s a happy, wiggly pup who will bring endless love and laughter to her new family.

Home Required
As a young pup, Cleo will need patient and understanding owners who can guide her through puppyhood using positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning. She will be starting from scratch with everything—learning about home life, basic manners, and how wonderful it is to be part of a family. She could be homed as an only dog or with a well-rounded resident dog to help show her the way. Her future family should be ready for all the fun, cuddles, and occasional puppy mischief that comes with raising a young dog—but in return, they’ll gain a loyal companion for life!
