Just 4 days before Christmas we were called on an emergency mission to save Coco & Minnie from a very sad situation. We pulled together an incredible team of volunteers and they made it from Devon to Cheshire, where they are now in foster with one of our team.
Coco (black fluffy) is 3 years old and Minnie (black and more white) is 2 years old. Their previous owner bought Coco as a kitten and rescued Minnie from a hoarder situation when she was 9 months old. They are now bonded and we are looking for a home for them together.
Both Coco and Minnie are shy to begin with – this is because they have been through a lot in their short lives. However, with a calm approach and letting them come to you, they soon warm up and love to chill with you.
Coco is a tiny cat with a big personality. She loves to greet you and is quite the chatter box. She throws her whole body into a good head scratch and often thanks you with kisses.
Minnie is following Coco’s lead and is growing in confidence every day. She likes her safe and cosy spaces but once she trusts you she can’t resist coming out for affection and gives full force head bumps! She has the biggest eyes and she gives you lots of slow blinks with them whilst you tickle her chin. She has begun to roll over for tummy rubs, purrs like a tractor and is just so full of love.
We are looking for an indoor only home for them due to them never having been outside. Ideally in a home with no other animals, with humans who can give them all the love and attention to help them continue on their confidence journey. However, they are cat friendly so we are open to applications with other cat friendly cats.
Their foster has said whoever adopts these two girls will be smitten in no time at all.
They are litter trained, neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, flea and worming. The adoption fee is £295 for the pair to help cover the costs incurred from the rescue mission and vet trips.
Could you offer a safe forever home for this lovely pair?
