Cooper – A Playful Pup Ready to Start His Big Adventure!

Cooper’s journey began in a tiny enclosure at the back of a yard near a company building, where he was found alongside his four siblings. Their mother lived freely in the yard with other adult dogs, but thankfully, all the adults have now been neutered, preventing any more litters from being born into such harsh conditions. Rescued and brought to the shelter in February 2025, Cooper is now approximately five months old and ready to find his forever home!

Personality
Cooper is a typical puppy—curious, wiggly, and always ready to play! He adores running around with his siblings and gets along well with them. With his big paws, we expect he’ll grow into a large breed. As he is currently in quarantine for his mandatory health tests and vaccinations, a full personality assessment will be done soon. However, from what we’ve seen so far, he’s a happy, playful pup who will make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

Home Required
Being a young pup, Cooper needs patient and understanding owners who can guide him through the exciting journey of growing up using positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning. He will need to learn everything from scratch—from basic manners to the joys of family life. He could be homed as an only dog or with a well-rounded resident dog to help show him the ropes. His future family should be ready for all the fun (and occasional mischief!) that comes with raising a puppy—but in return, they’ll gain a loyal companion for life!
