Lovely Cora – A Playful Pup Ready to Steal Your Heart!

Cora was rescued along with her four siblings after being discovered in a tiny enclosure behind a company building. Their mother lived freely in the yard with other adult dogs, but thankfully, all the adults have now been neutered, ensuring no more puppies will have to endure the same fate. Brought to the shelter in February 2025, Cora is now around five months old and ready to find a family who will love her forever.

Personality
Cora is a curious little pup who loves to play with her siblings. She is full of puppy charm, and, with her big paws, we anticipate she will grow into a large breed, making her an even more wonderful companion! As she is currently in quarantine for her mandatory health tests and vaccinations, a full personality assessment will be completed soon. However, from what we’ve seen so far, she is a typical happy pup who will bring endless joy to her new home.

Home Required
As a young puppy, Cora will need patient and loving owners who can support her through her early months using positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning. She will be learning everything from scratch—house rules, leash walking, and how to navigate the world! She could be homed as an only dog or with a well-balanced resident dog to help guide her. Her future family should be prepared for all the excitement and challenges that come with raising a puppy, but in return, they will gain a best friend for life.
