Flora’s journey began in the care of a kind-hearted local resident who took in and cared for many dogs. Sadly, when the resident became too ill to continue, our partner rescue stepped in to ensure all the dogs found safety. Now, Flora is looking for a loving home where she can finally experience the warmth of a real family.

Personality
At 14 years young, Flora is a chilled-out lady who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. While she is visually impaired, likely due to her age, she still gets around well and doesn’t let it hold her back!

She loves to be in the presence of people and will happily trot up for some gentle love and fuss. However, she is also quite independent and enjoys having her own space to relax.

Flora is also a big fan of treats! If you run out, don’t be surprised if she snuffles around in your pockets to check if you’ve got any left—accompanied by the cutest little grunts!

Home Required
Flora needs patient and understanding owners who will use positive reinforcement training and counter-conditioning to help her settle into her new world.

She has never lived in a home before, so she will need to learn everything from scratch.

Flora isn’t asking for much—just a quiet, comfortable home where she can relax and enjoy life at a slow pace. All she dreams of is a cozy warm sofa, a loving family to keep her company, and a peaceful place to spend her golden years.
