Glinda – A Loving Lady Looking for Her Forever Home

Glinda was originally taken in by a kind local resident who cared for many dogs on her land. Sadly, when the person became very ill and could no longer look after them, our partner rescue stepped in to provide a safe haven. Now at the shelter, Glinda is searching for a cozy sofa to call her own and to finally experience what it feels like to be part of a loving family.

Personality
Glinda is a sweet, gentle older girl at approximately 14 years old. Her beautiful white fur, contrasted against black, tells the story of her years, and she carries her age with grace. She enjoys a peaceful life, happily accepting gentle fusses with a wagging tail. Most of the time, she prefers to lounge in her bed while receiving affection—unless, of course, you have cheese! In that case, she’ll eagerly trot over, ready to be part of the action.

Home Required
Glinda would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can relax and enjoy the comforts of family life. She will need patient and understanding owners who are familiar with positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning to help her adjust at her own pace. While she may be in her golden years, she still has so much love to give, and we can’t wait to see her settle into a home where she is truly cherished.
