His Story
Hunt and his siblings were born into a world that didn’t welcome them. Struggling to survive on the streets of a residential area in Romania, they relied on scraps from kind strangers—while others saw them as nothing more than a nuisance. Thankfully, our partner rescue stepped in just in time, giving Hunt and his siblings a chance at a better life.

Since arriving at the rescue in September 2024, Hunt has known safety and care. But what he truly needs now is a home of his own—a quiet, patient space where he can finally begin to bloom.

His Personality
Hunt is a deeply sensitive boy who finds comfort in his siblings. He watches the world from behind them, using their presence as reassurance before taking small, cautious steps forward. While he isn’t quite ready for hands-on affection yet, there’s a quiet bravery in him—every day, he gets a little closer, a little more curious. With the right person by his side, we know he will learn to trust.

Hunt shows a different side when he’s out in the play area. He enjoys running and playing with his siblings, letting his guard down in their familiar company. In between bursts of play, he likes to take a step back—lying down to observe his surroundings, taking it all in at his own pace. This mix of gentle curiosity and playfulness shows the potential he has to thrive in a loving home.

The Home Hunt Needs
Hunt needs a calm, understanding home—one where he can settle in at his own pace, free from pressure or expectations. A peaceful household with minimal visitors would be ideal, and a kind, confident resident dog could make a world of difference in helping him feel safe.

His adopters should have experience (or be willing to learn) about positive reinforcement training and counter-conditioning, helping him slowly build confidence in his own time. Every tiny step forward with Hunt will be a milestone worth celebrating.
