Meet Jorja – A Sweet Pup Looking for a Loving Home

Jorja was rescued from a field in Bod, Romania, where an elderly woman had been feeding her and her four siblings. As they grew, she was unable to continue caring for them, so she reached out for help. Thankfully, the shelter stepped in and brought them to safety. Now, at just 5 months old, Jorja is eager to find a home of her own where she can grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. A shelter is no place for a puppy to grow up.

Personality
Jorja is a more reserved pup who is finding shelter life a little overwhelming. She is still a bit nervous, which is understandable as she only arrived in early March. She is currently in quarantine for mandatory vaccinations and health checks, so a full personality assessment will follow soon. However, we’re sure that once she settles into her new surroundings, her happy, playful, and affectionate nature will shine through.

Home Required
Jorja will need patient and understanding owners who use positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning to help her adjust to her new world. A quieter rural or suburban home would be best, allowing her to settle in at her own pace and enjoy peaceful walks, especially during the first few months.
