Keema’s early months were spent living freely on a rural farm in Romania with her five siblings. In April 2025, she and her littermates were born into a yard that became increasingly uninhabitable after severe flooding. When the farm owners were forced to relocate their animals, they reached out for help, and the shelter welcomed the puppies in June 2025. Since then Keema has been learning to navigate the world around her.

Personality

Keema is a gentle, thoughtful pup who takes in her surroundings with a quiet curiosity. She may initially appear reserved, but given time and space, she begins to blossom—nuzzling in for affection and showing her sweet nature. Like her siblings, she responds positively to calm interaction and shows interest in the world around her. She’s still discovering play and social interaction, and she looks to other dogs for reassurance. With continued encouragement and trust-building, her playful side is sure to shine through.

Home Required

As with all puppies, Keema will need patient guidance and consistency to help her adjust to life in a home. She has never lived inside before, so everything from vacuum cleaners to walking on a lead will be brand new. Positive reinforcement training, gentle handling, and a calm routine will go a long way in helping her feel safe and confident.

She could be the only dog or join a home with a friendly, well-adjusted resident dog to help her learn the ropes. What’s most important is that her family understands that she will need time and space to settle.
