Meet Nuki – A Bundle of Joy Ready for Adventure!

Nuki was found struggling to survive on the streets of Tarlungeni, Romania, but his luck changed in May 2023 when the rescue team picked him up and brought him to safety. At just 12 months old, he arrived as a young pup and has since grown into adulthood at the shelter. Now, his time has finally come to find a loving forever home, and we can’t wait to see him thrive with an adventurous family of his own!

Personality
Nuki is a gorgeous, happy, and energetic boy whose enthusiasm for life is absolutely infectious. The moment you meet him, he will rush over with a wagging tail, eager to shower you with kisses and cuddles!

He is doing amazingly well learning to wear a harness and lead, and he has already been on several walks with the team, absolutely loving his little adventures! One of Nuki’s favourite things is zooming around the playground and playing with toys. He enjoys a “half” game of fetch—he’ll chase after a toy at full speed but hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back just yet! We know he’ll get the hang of it in no time.

With his intelligence and boundless energy, we think Nuki would excel at an activity like agility or man-trailing. He is highly receptive and eager to engage, making him the perfect partner for someone looking to harness both his physical and mental abilities in a fun and exciting way!

Home Required
Nuki will need patient and understanding owners who use positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning to help him adjust to his new life. Having never lived in a home before, he will need to learn everything from scratch.

Currently, Nuki lives alone at the shelter, and we think he would prefer to be the only dog in his new home so he can soak up all the love and attention—and honestly, he truly deserves it!

An active family would be the perfect match for Nuki—one that will take him on plenty of long walks and perhaps even get involved in dog sports or training activities to build a strong bond with him. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and adventure-loving companion, Nuki is your boy!
