Meet Drax – A Brave Boy Ready for Adventure

His Story
Drax’s life began with hardship—born on the streets of Brașov, he fought to survive as a tiny puppy. But his struggle was short-lived, as he was rescued at just a few months old and brought to safety in March 2022. Now, after spending most of his young life in the shelter, Drax is ready to find his forever family—one that will take him on adventures, give him the love he craves, and finally show him what home truly means.

His Personality
Drax is an all-around good boy with a heart full of love. He shares his kennel beautifully with both male and female dogs and enjoys the company of his carers. Among his kennel mates, he’s one of the more confident dogs, often the first to greet visitors with a wagging tail, eagerly waiting for strokes and cuddles. He soaks up affection in the sweetest, gentlest way, making him an absolute joy to be around.

When it’s time to play, Drax comes alive! He loves running around in the playground with his friends, embracing every moment of fun. He even took part in the Run for Animals 5k event in Romania, running alongside humans and dogs alike—he did amazing, and the team couldn’t be prouder of him!

The Home Drax Needs
Since Drax has spent his whole life outside, he’ll need patient adopters who can help him learn everything from scratch. A home that uses positive reinforcement training and counter-conditioning will help him adjust and thrive.

Drax can live with another friendly dog or as the only pet in the right home. He would be happiest in an active family that loves outdoor adventures—whether it’s long walks, fun hikes, or exciting trips to the park, Drax is ready to be your adventure buddy!
