Todd – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home!

Todd and his siblings were found wandering through a field in a residential area. Thankfully, the kind-hearted woman who discovered them made the compassionate decision to bring them to the safety of the rescue shelter in December 2024, rather than calling the dog warden, which could have led to a much darker fate. Most of Todd’s siblings have now been adopted, and we don’t want him to be left behind! At approximately 4–5 months old, Todd is more than ready to experience the love and care of a forever family.

Personality
Todd has the most soulful, heart-melting eyes—a look that will instantly win you over! He’s a playful pup who loves to run around with his siblings, but what makes him extra special is his gentle nature. While his siblings eagerly jump up at carers for attention, Todd takes a more patient approach. He waits for the perfect moment, seeking out the person who isn’t already surrounded by dogs, and then quietly approaches with a gentle wagging tail, ready to soak up all the cuddles. He repays kindness with the sweetest, softest kisses—what a clever boy for ensuring he gets some one-on-one love!

Home Required
Todd will need patient and understanding owners with knowledge of positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning, as he is still a puppy and will need to learn everything from scratch.
He may take a couple of days to settle into his new surroundings, but with love and patience, he will soon show his true, happy self. Todd would likely thrive in a home with a friendly, confident, well-rounded resident dog to help show him the ropes, but he would equally do just well as an only dog.
