Vibrant Vinnie – Ready for His Well-Deserved Home!
His Story
Vinnie is a gorgeous 7-year-old Spaniel-type crossbreed with a heart full of love and a past that hasn’t dulled his spirit. Since he was a pup, he was mostly tied to a chain in his family’s back garden, never knowing the comfort of a real home. His owners only surrendered him when the rescue team took him for neutering as part of their spay/neuter campaign—they simply didn’t want him back.
Despite this heartbreaking start, Vinnie has been given a second chance. He finally found safety at the rescue shelter in September 2024, where he’s now enjoying the company of his carers. He also carries a burn mark on the bridge of his nose—a common yet cruel practice in Romania, where locals believe burning a dog’s nose will bring them luck on the streets. Now, it’s time for Vinnie’s real luck to change as he searches for the loving forever home he truly deserves.
His Personality
Vinnie is adored by everyone who meets him! The moment his carers enter the kennel, he bounds over with excitement, eagerly soaking up all the fuss and attention he can get. He may be entering his senior years, but don’t let that fool you—he still has a playful streak and will jump up like a kangaroo when he’s excited!
Nothing would make him happier than a home of his own, where he can trade the kennel floor for a warm sofa and a family to call his own.
The Home Vinnie Needs
Vinnie dreams of a cosy home where he can truly relax for the first time in his life. A comfy sofa all to himself? Yes, please! After all, doesn’t he deserve that after everything he’s been through?
Vinnie still has plenty of energy and would love a family who will take him on long walks and help him experience all the joys of a real home. As he has never lived indoors properly, his new family will need to start from scratch with training—he’ll need patience, positive reinforcement, and lots of love to help him adjust. A quiet or rural home would be ideal for his transition into family life.
Could you be the one to give Vinnie the home he truly deserves?
