Meet Wolf – A Loving Pup Ready to Shine

His Story
Wolf and his siblings were born into uncertainty, struggling to survive on the streets of a Romanian neighbourhood. Some kind-hearted locals gave them scraps to keep them going, but not everyone was so kind. Thankfully, our partner rescue stepped in, giving Wolf and his siblings the safety and care they desperately needed.

Since arriving at the rescue in September 2024, Wolf has shown what a special boy he is—full of potential, love, and a playful spirit just waiting to be shared with the right family.

His Personality
Out of his siblings, Wolf is the most confident. Though he can still be cautious in new surroundings, he doesn’t let fear hold him back. Instead, he takes a moment to sit quietly, ears perked, as he listens to the world around him—thoughtfully taking it all in. Once he feels comfortable, his playful and happy nature shines through!

At the shelter, Wolf actively seeks out affection. He adores fuss and gentle strokes from his carers, leaning in for more and even jumping up to ask for extra cuddles if they stop too soon. His loving nature and eagerness to bond make him a truly special companion.

Wolf is also starting to learn about wearing a harness and lead. He’s doing well, but his new family will need to teach him everything from scratch—including walking on a lead, living in a home, toilet training, and all the basics of pet life. With patience and encouragement, he will learn and adapt, but his adopters must be prepared to guide him through this completely new experience.

The Home Wolf Needs
Wolf is looking for a loving home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. His ideal family will be patient and understanding, ready to teach him the fundamentals of home life with kindness and positive reinforcement. He has never lived in a house before, so everything—from house training to daily routines—will be brand new to him.

A kind resident dog could be a great support for Wolf, but we would consider homing him as an only dog depending on your experience. His adopters should be committed to using positive reinforcement training to help him settle into his new world with trust and encouragement.

Could you be the one to give Wolf the forever home he’s been waiting for? With his affectionate nature and eagerness to bond, he’s ready to be someone’s best friend for life. 🧡
