Meet Donna – A Delightful Pup Ready to Discover the World With You!

Background

In May 2025, Donna and her five siblings were rescued from an industrial area where they had been born and hidden beneath construction debris. Their brave mother had been doing her best to care for them, but when one of the puppies became trapped, a kind local called for help. The shelter team rushed to the site, rescued the stuck pup, and safely brought the entire litter and their mum into care. Donna was born in February 2025 and has been growing up in the shelter ever since, waiting for her forever family to find her.

Personality

Donna is a bright and social young dog who radiates confidence and curiosity. She’s often one of the first to greet visitors with a wagging tail and playful energy. She enjoys human company, loves affection, and is happy to interact calmly once her excitement settles. She’s playful with her siblings but also enjoys quiet time to herself, showing a healthy balance of independence and sociability. With her expressive eyes and joyful nature, Donna makes it easy to fall in love.

Home Required

Donna is looking for a home that understands the needs of a young rescue dog and can offer her time, structure, and lots of patience. She would thrive with a family who uses positive reward-based training and is committed to gently guiding her through her transition into home life using tools like counter-conditioning and calm, consistent routines. Donna could live happily with another friendly dog to help her build confidence or be the star of the show in a solo-dog home. A secure garden, access to regular exercise, and a calm environment would help her flourish.

Donna is an affectionate, playful, and clever girl who is ready to start life beyond the shelter. With her charming personality and open heart, she’s a perfect companion for anyone ready to embrace the journey of raising a young dog with kindness and understanding. All she needs now is a family to guide her with love and encouragement—and a comfy spot to call her own.
