Ella – A Gentle Soul in Need of a Patient and Loving Home

Ella and her siblings were rescued from a field near a block of flats, where they were found rummaging through trash in search of scraps. Thankfully, they were brought to the safety of the shelter in November 2024, giving them a second chance at life.

Personality
Ella is a shy little girl who is still learning how to trust humans. She isn’t quite ready for cuddles yet, but if you look into her eyes, you can see how much she wants to be brave. She often cuddles up to her siblings for reassurance, using them as her comfort blanket. We believe that what Ella truly needs is a home environment where she can take things at her own pace and slowly come out of her shell.

Home Required
Ella needs a special home—one that allows her to settle in at her own pace. A peaceful household with minimal visitors, ideally in a rural setting, would be best for her. A kind and confident resident dog would be ideal to help show her the ropes and give her the comfort she needs. She will need patient and understanding owners with knowledge of positive reward-based training and counter-conditioning, as she will need to learn everything from scratch.
