Meet Pepper – Waiting Patiently for Her Happy Ever After

Pepper came into the care of our partner shelter in June 2025 after she and her two puppies were living in the yard of a family in a local area who no longer wanted them. The local city hall contacted the shelter for help and thankfully Pepper and her puppies were brought to safety. Since then, Pepper’s puppies have both gone on to find their forever homes, whilst Pepper still patiently waits for her own happy ending.

Pepper is a super sweet, affectionate and loving girl who absolutely adores human attention. She happily greets people with a wagging tail and loves nothing more than receiving strokes and affection. Pepper will gently push herself into you for more cuddles. She is comfortable being petted all over and happily allows grooming. Pepper has been enjoying exploring the playground at the shelter, where she loves sniffing her surroundings and taking everything in. She has also been out on walks wearing a harness and is ready to share adventures with her future family. She is very food motivated and gently takes treats from the hand.

Pepper would love a calm and understanding home where she can continue to settle into family life and enjoy all the love she deserves. Pepper is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and enjoy all the affection to herself. A rural or suburban home with access to walks and quieter environments would suit her best. After raising her puppies and watching them leave for their forever homes, it is now Pepper’s turn to finally find happiness.
