River’s journey began in challenging circumstances. After severe flooding near a river in rural Romania, a kind local man discovered River and his three siblings huddled together in the aftermath. Barely two months old, they were brought to safety at the shelter in June 2025. Though they’ve known only the outdoors and shelter life so far, these pups have shown resilience, curiosity, and a gentle desire to connect with people.
