Meet Bella – Searching for a Home Filled with Love

Bella was found alongside her sister Mia as a newborn puppy after they had been cruelly dumped in a bag at the side of the road in Romania. Thankfully, they were discovered by Italian tourists who stepped in to save them. The sisters were taken to a local vet where they were cared for and bottle fed by a wonderful local lady. Once they were old enough, Mia and Bella were moved safely into our partner shelter where they have been waiting for their forever homes.

Bella is a sweet and sensitive girl. She naturally follows her sister’s lead and looks to other dogs for reassurance and comfort. Bella will need time, patience and understanding from her adopters to help her learn that she is safe and loved.

Once Bella begins to trust, she will gently take treats from the hand and has started to show interest in toys. She simply needs the opportunity to settle into a calm and loving environment at her own pace, without pressure or expectation placed upon her.

Bella would suit a quiet rural or suburban home with experienced and compassionate adopters who understand nervous dogs and are willing to give her the time she needs to settle.
