Meet Sam – A Sweet Pup Looking for a Loving Home

Sam was rescued from a field in Bod, Romania, where a kind elderly woman had been feeding him and his four siblings. As they grew, she could no longer care for them, so she reached out for help. Thankfully, the shelter stepped in to bring them to safety. Now, at just 5 months old, Sam is eager to find a home where he can grow into a happy, confident adult dog. A shelter is no place for a puppy to grow up.

Personality
Sam is a gentle and reserved pup who is still adjusting to his new surroundings. Life at the shelter can feel overwhelming, but given that he only arrived in early March, this is completely understandable. He is currently in quarantine for his mandatory vaccinations and health checks, so a full personality assessment will follow soon. However, we’re sure that as he settles in, his playful and affectionate side will start to shine!

Home Required
Sam will need patient and understanding owners who use positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning to help him feel safe and comfortable in his new environment. A quiet rural or suburban home would be ideal, giving him the space and time to settle in at his own pace and enjoy peaceful walks, especially in the first few months.
