Meet Sasha – Could You Be Her Safe Place?

Sasha was rescued from the pound in Romania in December 2022 when she was just a puppy, and has remained at our partner shelter ever since, patiently waiting for her forever home.

Sasha is a beautiful, sensitive, gentle girl who can feel nervous when first meeting new people. She is happiest when she has the chance to take everything in at her own pace. Given a little time, Sasha begins to grow in confidence and will slowly come closer to investigate.

Treats are a wonderful way to help Sasha build trust. She is very interested in food and will happily come over to investigate when treats are around, even taking them gently from an open hand. She has shown interest in toys, giving them a sniff and even a little nibble or two. She also finds comfort in the company of other dogs and is very respectful around them.

Sasha would love a patient, understanding home where she can continue to build trust at her own pace. A quieter rural or suburban home would suit her best, with adopters who can offer her kindness, gentle encouragement and time.
